Easy and Beautiful DIY Christmas Decor

It's almost Christmas and right after Thanksgiving we will be transitioning our house from turkeys and pilgrims to tinsel and holly.  I love thinking up DIY projects for Tyler and I to do.  I think of what I did as a kid and other projects I've seen and put together fun projects to do together.

On the other hand, I'm am not as good at inventing DIY projects for the more elegant home decor. While I love putting up the projects T and I make together, sometimes and in some areas of the house, I prefer a more adult feel. But I still love DIY.

I have scoured the inter-webs for videos of holiday DIY projects that are easy and elegant all at the same time. Things you are totally capable of doing and would be proud to show off in your home.

DIY Christmas Decor! Easy Fast DIY Christmas Ideas!

I really like these three projects from the DIY & Craft channel.  For the string Christmas tree project I like the bells but I also kind of like it plain.  I think it might be cute to make a few red and green string trees of varying heights and group them together. The candy cnae candles and candle holders are really cute too!

LAST MINUTE DOLLAR TREE CHRISTMAS DIY CRAFTS 2016

The 4 projects in this video from Lauryn Gardner are so stinking cute and super easy. Due to being pregnant, I can't do the spray painting parts, but otherwise, these are totally doable.  I really love how the ornament wreath came out!

DIY ROOM DECOR! 28 Easy Crafts Ideas at Christmas for Teenagers

OK, so this video by Diy TV Beauty does not contain tutorials. Instead it is a sped up video of people creating the different projects. But, for the most part, these projects are pretty simple. So you can probably figure out how to do the ones you like by watching the less than a minute clip one or two times for that particular project.  I'm not in love with every single project, but with 28 to choose from there are plenty that I love.

Did you check out the videos? Which project was your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

Cheers,

Emily
