This year everything is strange. We are spending Easter in isolation, our kids aren’t creating Easter crafts at school, and we are in a weird holding pattern because of the unpredictability of the future.
We want our kids to enjoy the Easter season and we also need to prepare ourselves for the future. Times like these allow us to see the things that really matter. It’s important to use this time focus on what we want our life to look like so that we can take the necessary steps to actually make it happen.
With that in mind, I put together a collection of free printable resources to help you do this. Some of these downloads are new and a few are oldies but goodies. All of them will help you and your kiddos get through this very temporary time in our lives.
For the Kiddos
For the kiddos I put together two Easter printables to keep them entertained. The first is a set of 10 Easter coloring pages. These are good for kids of any age. You can print them out again and again for each of your kiddos or your one super colorer.
The second is a set of 6 Easter puzzles. It includes, a word search, a word scramble, a word match and 3 mazes. These are perfect for school aged kids.
This is a great way to keep the kiddos entertained over the next week or so.
I also have a list of 40 activities to do with the kiddos to prevent winter boredom. Of course we are entering spring, but many of them can also be applicable during this time when we are all stuck at home.
To get these printables, just sign up for my resource library below and you will get access to these activities in the library if you scroll down to the section entitled “For the Kiddos”.
Daily Planner Printable Page
With everyone at home and our schedules all out of wack, it’s easy to feel lost. Our healthy habits go out the window because there is no structure to our days. We don’t have a plan for our days so our work toward our goals stagnates.
Therefore, the first printable I made for the mamas is a daily planner page.
You can print out as many copies as you need of this page and use them to plan out your days. You have space to write out your goals, figure out particular to dos, put them on a schedule and even plan your meals.
This is a great way to get back on track with your healthy habits and start working on your goals.
Road to Happiness
Speaking of goals, times like these really put things in perspective. Even if you have set goals before, your perspective may have changed with the new set of circumstances we find ourselves in.
The Road to Happiness exercise allows you to look at how well you are doing in the different areas of your life and based on your assessment, you can discover which goals will help you make the most progress toward the life you desire for yourself.
Basically you view the 10 main areas of your life as sections of your road to happiness. When an area ranks lower than the others around it, it’s a pothole in your road. To achieve happiness, you first need to get rid of your potholes. Then you bring the whole level of your road up to meet your destination.
Get Rid of Your Paper Clutter Challenge
Finally, If you are using your time at home to clean, organize and declutter your house (like I am) then this challenge is perfect for you. This challenge walks you through a 5 step process for collecting, cutting down, and organizing your paper. It also discusses how to process new paper as it enters the house.
After completing this challenge you will know exactly how to handle your papers so you don’t end up with piles and piles of it everywhere.
While not exactly a printable itself, it includes a handy printable detailing how long to hold onto various documents for record purposes. To join the Challenge, just click on the banner below.
Above are just a few of the helpful printables available in my resource library. I also have printables on goal setting, meal planning, healthy eating, bill management, and more. Plus, I have several more in the works that I will be adding soon.
They are definitely worth checking out! I hope you find them helpful as we work together to get through this quarantine.
Cheers,
Emily
